Estée Lauder announces the launch of its new digital flagship - esteelauder.com.my – an intuitive site that combines a bold new design with innovative technology to build an interactive beauty community, allowing women to easily have an ongoing personalised experience, and seamlessly linking the worlds of commerce, content and service.

With an aspirational, fashion-forward design, the site aims to more deeply engage women in the brand’s ethos and beauty conversation with enhanced product commerce pages, inspiring and shoppable editorial content and social media feeds, customised product recommendations and multi-media ratings and reviews.

The new esteelauder.com.my will be the focal point of the brand’s omnichannel experience, giving women a reason to interact with the brand more often – online, in social media and in store – building long term relationships through personalized service and frequently updated content. The site is intended to drive loyalty, as the more a woman visits esteelauder.com.my and engages with the brand, the more involved she will be in the site’s beauty community, and the more individualized her beauty experience will become each time she visits.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Interactive tools throughout the site identify a woman's beauty needs and facilitate product recommendations. The Foundation Finder, an app-like experience, asks questions about the level of foundation coverage required, from "sheer" to "full", and makes appropriate recommendations. Product Comparison tools and filters make finding the right products easier, and Regimen Suggestions with “how to use” instructions help women create a customized beauty regimen.

INSPIRATION: The Estée Edit is original editorial content that is shoppable and seamlessly woven throughout esteelauder.com.my. It combines inspirational stories about Estée Lauder's unique brand heritage with articles focused on the brand’s modern vision of beauty and related lifestyle topics. The Estée Edit includes exclusive content from the brand's rich archives, profiles on inspirational women such as Eva Mandes, and articles featuring Global Beauty Contributor that includes Korean model and TV personality Irene Kim and faces of Estée Lauder such as Kendall Jenner. Content from The Estée Edit is shareable across social media, including inspirational quotes from founder, Estée Lauder.

COMMERCE: The shopping experience includes user-friendly shopping pages, easy access to insider beauty tips, The Estée Edit, online beauty consultations and co-shop visits. In addition, a new mobile platform streamlines the purchase experience for women on the go. Contributing to the omnichannel experience, a woman can view her beauty profile on the mobile site while in store – accessing ratings and reviews, product recommendations, previous purchases and her wish list – so she is browsing and learning while in store.

In true Japanese fashion, ISETAN Kuala Lumpur is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a host of festivities and initiatives for customers, as well as to give back to the community. Daruma by ISETAN

Drawing inspiration from the Japanese traditional wishing doll, Daruma by Isetan features a collection of five specially designed coin canisters. Symbolising perseverance, these cultural good luck charms encourage goal-setting and the achievement of personal aspirations. Customers will receive a certificate of appreciation when they return a full Daruma to Customer Service for contribution to the fund collection box. They may thereafter keep the Daruma as a memento for their act of goodwill. Daruma is available for sale at i-Club Isetan KLCC, The Gardens and 1 Utama at RM15 each.


ISETAN KL Birthday Run

The ISETAN KL Birthday Run will take place on Saturday, 8 November 2015 at Taman Botani Perdana, Kuala Lumpur.  Participants may compete in any of four categories, after contribution of a nomimal participation fee. The categories include Men and Women’s 7 km open (RM50 each), Family 3 km dash (RM80 for 4 people), and Kids 1 km dash (free).

Each participant will receive a race kit consisting of a goodie bag, a Le Coq Sportif dry fit shirt and a race bib. Finishers will receive a medal and e-certificate.
