This Spring, Monki is delighted to announce that it has teamed up with two inspiring female artists, singer Mapei and world record holding hoola hooper, Marawa the Amazing.

It has been a long-standing mission at Monki to empower young women and highlight the importance of friendship, so it comes as little surprise that the brand would choose two successful artists and long-term friends to be the faces of their spring denim collection.

This new collection takes Monki denim to a whole new fashion level with long white denim coats, flight suits and new denim accessories. It also includes an extended range of their popular jeans styles Ikmo, the cropped boyfriend fit, and Kimomo, the mom jean, in spring washes.

The collaboration will launch in store in mid-February and will feature the two friends wearing their favourite pieces from the collection.

Scandinavian brand Monki is happy to announce that it will shortly offer its unbeatable retail experience in third location in Malaysia! 20 November will see the opening of a 320 sq. m store in the IOI mall in Putrajaya. On 6 December, the fashion brand will open its second store in Kuala Lumpur, a 226 sq. m. concept store on the ground floor of 1 Utama Shopping Centre—the world’s fourth largest mall.

The Monki concept stores are inspired by an imagined Monki world, making it a truly one of a kind place to shop for expressive fashion. Features include floating water lily lamps and décor inspired by an enormous, mystical sea creature.

Monki, the Swedish fashion brand, is set to open a second store in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur this year. The new store will be located in the IOI City Mall Putrajaya and will open its doors on 20 November 2014.

The 320sqm store will have similar features to the first Malaysian store including its floating monki characters and the scallop detailed cash register. It will also have a new entrance area with a hovering platform for the mannequins and a great cloud of glowing orbs hanging above.

Monki is celebrating the opening in the IOI mall 20 November by giving away 50 RM gift cards to the first 100 in line when the store opens, among other opening offers!
