There are myths saying that blemishes are only for teens. NO! Somehow it happens to everyone of us if we’ve accidentally using wrong products that cause breakouts, irregular period causing hormonal imbalance, or just being stressed and not enough sleep. Well, I’m one of them who keep searching for solutions. These two products just came in time when I’m in the midst of surveying new products!

Introducing NEW Clear Difference from Estée Lauder, the serum experts, NEW Clear Difference is a highly-effective, rapid-acting medicated system comprised of NEW Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum and NEW Clear Difference Targeted Blemish Treatment that targets, treats and dramatically reduces blemishes, effectively yet gently. Taking control of skin, these high-performances, anti-blemish innovations also help prevent new blemishes from forming. It is ideal for women who experience blemishes and breakouts. Oil- free, non-acne genic, dermatologist-tested and ophthalmologist-tested

Experts in repair and anti-aging, for NEW Clear Difference Estée Lauder Scientists developed a multi-pronged approach to clear skin – NEW Triple Action Clarity Technology. This comprehensive, exclusive technology including a special blend of Salicylic Acid, Glucosamine and Laminaria Saccharina, works in three ways;
  • Stops the Breakout Cycle – With the proven power of Salicylic Acid, the NEW Clear Difference system targets, treats and reduces blemishes. Skin is purified to keep pores clear and free of debris while blemishes are minimized. With continued use, this system helps to prevent the severity and frequency of future breakouts.
  • Refines and Calms Skin – A high concentration of Glucosamine, a natural and proven sugar-derived skin refiner, normalizes skin’s natural cellular turnover, whisking away dead and dulling skin cells. This helps prevent pores from becoming congested with debris that can lead to breakouts. A potent, soothing blend of Algae Extract, Sucrose and Caffeine helps to reduce redness and minimize discomfort associated with blemishes. Skin immediately feels calm and hydrated, revealing a smoother, clearer texture.
  • Controls Excess Oil & Reduces Look of Pores – A natural marine extract called Laminaria Saccharina, controls excess oil while visibly reducing the look of pores and helping to clear clogged pores so they appear significantly smaller. Skin is left with a fresh, natural finish.
Estée Lauder Clear Difference range only comes with two products, which I generally think it’s good enough to help skin regain and maintain its true clarity and smoothness – you don’t need too much products for blemish skin.

Verdict
Well, I’ve been using them for nearly two months (Yes, blemish skin usually takes longer time to see the real improvement as their healing process is awful). I found that EL’s Clear Difference Advanced Blemish Serum is minty, cooling and has a lovely scent of eucalyptus. Only a lil bit tingling effect on open scars area for a few seconds of “detox”. Preferably apply after toner and I suggest you leave other serums aside if you really wanna treat your blemishes spots well.

Although it’s oil free but non-drying at all, seriously lightweight and doesn’t irritates my skin. (My skin is extremely sensitive for certain ingredients and easy to cause breakouts)

Clear Difference Targeted Blemish Treatment, I have to say that it’ll be kinda harsh for open scars for a few seconds and it’ll be fine. Simply press the pump at the bottom of the bottle and the liquid will squeeze out, circling the roller ball on top.

It works pretty well on target spots but I would not suggest for those who have severe acnes and blemishes area, unless the spot’s kinda “under emergency” (something like sudden burst out my zits). Please do make sure you clean them well, especially the roller ball area to avoid contingency.

Overall, I’m pretty impressed that Estée Lauder cares for this skin condition by not junst only concentrate on anti-aging / radiance / firming. It’ll performed better once your skin is well-treated and free from dirty blemishes.
