[Tried and Tested] Bobbi Brown Art Stick

Monday, March 17, 2014

As I introduced this product on my previous post, I was so excited to try out all 8 shades of Bobbi Brown Art Sticks. Feeling awesome playing on new toys! First glance, you might think it looks very thick like crayon, but the design and packaging of the Art Sticks are very pouch-friendly. I wow-ed once I did the swatches on my arm.

I was totally having much fun playing them on my arms and lips...

... and I accidentally left some stains on my favorite cotton top!!! But, the stain can be removed easily without using any oil-based make-up remover.

Swatches on my arm

I've picked 4 colors among them and I applied on my lips.

Verdict
Colors are pretty straight-forward and no funky shades in this collection. I don't need to think and decide on picking colors as the swatches are pretty obvious. It's creamy-matte texture and I've tried them on my lips for more than 6 hours.

I met up with friends and grabbed some coffee in between and for sure I left some lip stains on the cups, the color still stays well on my lips until I remove it with make up remover.

As the Bobbi Brown Art Sticks are matte-based, dry lips' users are advised to apply a layer of lip balm before this, it'll create a juicy, long-lasting lustrous look.

I'm wearing "Sunset Orange" on my lips in this picture.

Oh! Not only for lips but cheeks too?!

Use on Cheeks!
The Art Stick also can be worn on cheek for a pop of color. All you have to do is apply onto the apple of your cheeks and blend it with your hand / foundation brush / full coverage face brush.

Retails at RM88, Bobbi Brown Art Sticks is now available at all Bobbi Brown stores.

Do share your thoughts on Bobbi Brown Art Sticks if you've already tried them. Any dupes for this too?
